🎉 What’s new in Release v237?

The new queue takes a national onsale in its stride, the CMS gets easier to navigate, and two new ticketing partners join us. This is also our last release before the new release rhythm begins.

🚦 The new queue takes your biggest onsales in its stride

The new queue passed its first major test during a recent national onsale in the Netherlands. Fourteen CultureSuite venues went on sale at the same time, and the queue handled thousands of visitors per minute while every website stayed online and performed as normal.

What changed?

  • Faster overall performance.
  • More reliable delivery of queue messages to waiting visitors.
  • See historical queue activity.

How do I use it?

  • We are halfway through rolling out the new queue. If you don't have it yet, it will be activated for you very soon. Thank you for your patience.
  • Already using the new queue? We'd love to hear your first impressions. Share them with our Customer Success team.

What changed?

A major update to the CMS templates makes tables and overviews easier to read, filter and navigate.

Tables and overviews

  • Tables are cleaner, show more information and have better-aligned columns.
  • Every table now has quick filter options.
  • Status labels show the state of an item at a glance, such as "active" or "inactive" in Scheduled messages.
  • Counters show how many items are connected, where this is useful.
  • Links to connected items take you straight to their edit form. For example, from the Events overview you can jump directly to a specific hall or status.

Forms, help texts and uploads

  • Clearer help texts in the Privileges and SMS verification modules.
  • When you change the group of an event, the help text updates straight away to show that group's visibility and on-sale dates.
  • Forms and detail pages now have a maximum width, making them easier to work with on larger screens.
  • Clearer information about file sizes and upload limits in media galleries.

New Redirect module (Beta)

  • A new version of the Redirect module is available in Beta.

How do I use it?

  • No action needed. The table, form and help text improvements are live across all new CMS modules.
  • To try the new Redirect module, open the Beta version as shown below.

For Tixly venues

  • Fixed an issue with how the Servicemail opt-in is set when a visitor creates an account.

📅 A reminder: our new release rhythm starts after this release

Release 237 is our last release on the current three-weekly cycle. From here, we're introducing a clearer two-tier release structure.

What changed?

  • Preview releases: new features and updates every three weeks, available first to a group of Preview users.
  • Core releases: released every quarter. This is where everything from the preceding Preview releases reaches every venue in the CultureSuite community.
  • Releases 238, 239 and 240 will be Preview releases. Release 241 will be the first Core release, arriving in January 2027.
  • Development continues every three weeks, exactly as it does now. What's changing is how new work is packaged and communicated to you.

What does this mean for me?

  • No action needed. Every new feature reaches your website in the next Core release, bundled together with clear communication about what's new.
🚧
Bug fixes are never held back. Bug fixes and urgent patches are not affected by this change. They are deployed continuously and are never held back for either release type.
